visalusI can’t believe some people still say this but a common excuse for failure in this business comes from those who convince themselves that the system doesn’t work. You know who I’m talking about…those special people that have a better way that involves throwing huge events every week, mailing out 10,000 postcards and spending $100K in advertising.

…Or at least that’s what they think they need to do to be successful and they are dead wrong!

“If those products are as good as you say, then everybody is going to join.”

That’s not what it’s about. I learned this the hard way but one thing you need to understand is the only thing that will screw up a great idea is your better idea.

We’ve got a great thing going on here at Visalus. You couldn’t have become the #1 fastest growing company in North America if what we do didn’t work.

Visalus Success Starts With Trusting The System

I was recently at an Ambassador party with 1000 people.

To give you an idea of how amazing that is, there were 450 people at the first national event we went to a little over two years ago. Now we’re throwing Ambassador parties with 1000 people showing up.

We recently did a National Director meeting with 4800 people present, all that were making at least $5000 a month.

The system works.

Don’t think that you’re special or that you need a separate system for your friends. Don’t come to me and say you can’t do a Visalus challenge party with a bunch of reasons and justifications that you sold yourself on. Stop trying to sell me on why you shouldn’t follow the system because I don’t have time to waste to be teaching you how to come up with some better idea when the system works.

Have You Heard These Excuses When Promoting Visalus?

  • I’ve got kids, I can’t throw a challenge party.
  • My house is in a basement closet, it’s really small.
  • Jay, you don’t understand! You don’t understand! I’m special!
  • My friends, (insert excuse here)
  • It’s hot
  • It’s cold
  • It’s vacation time
  • It’s wedding season, everyone is busy
  • Now it’s cottage season, there is nobody around
  • I live in a really small town
  • All my friends are broke, stupid and lazy…none of them will ever do this!

We’ve all heard these things before, we will hear them again and many of us have even been caught saying them as well. You’re going to hear them today, tomorrow, all the time. Get used to it!

There is a difference between something that’s not working and something that’s not working for you. Remember that this business has nothing to do with you and everything to do with the people you’re helping.

That’s when you’re going to take it to the next level.

It’s All About Timing

When I say timing, I’m talking about timing for you and your new prospect. The timing does have to be right for everybody when they have that moment in time where they truly “get it”. The switch flips and they have that light bulb moment.

We call those AHA moments.

When you can see someone have those AHA moments, that’s the timing I’m really talking about. When they figure out that there is an out, when they figure out that there is another way and they know they truly can do this.

Don’t ever let your past failures dictate your future.

In twenty years from now are you going to remember the failures you had today or are they just going to be an afterthought?
